Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP / EDI Analyst to join a dynamic IT team supporting enterprise systems and integrations. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP ABAP solutions and EDI integrations, ensuring smooth communication between systems, vendors, and trading partners.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP and EDI, capable of troubleshooting complex issues and delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs including enhancements, conversions, user exits, BADI/BAPI, ALV reports, RFCs, and LSMW
Develop and maintain SAP Scripts and Smart Forms
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve SAP system issues
Support inbound and outbound IDOC processing and monitor EDI integrations
Work with trading partners and vendors to onboard new EDI connections and maintain existing ones
Map EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 846, 856, 810) to SAP IDOC structures
Collaborate with middleware teams to support EDI integrations and resolve errors
Respond to SAP and EDI support tickets and provide timely resolutions
Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
Maintain documentation for development, integrations, and production processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development (ECC 6.0 or higher)
Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development tools and concepts
Hands-on experience with EDI integrations and SAP IDOC structures
Experience working with core SAP modules such as SD and MM
Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes
Experience working with third-party EDI providers or middleware platforms
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations
Knowledge of SQL and database querying
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
