Job Title: Sr. Project Controls & Data Governance Specialist, Programs & Projects
OverviewProvides professional project management experience to designated projects and assignments at a client site, campus, and facilities.
The Project Controls and Data Governance Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing project controls, data integrity, and governance processes for the business/account. This role ensures consistent, quality project delivery, compliance with corporate regulations, and effective data management across all project phases. It establishes and maintains centralized project controls and robust data governance frameworks across the client’s global real estate and workplace portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesProject Controls
- Collaborates with a centralized, multi-disciplinary team of Program Managers and Project Controls Analysts.
- Develops and maintains controls structures that establish clear process expectations of project delivery and means to track and measure compliance.
- Oversees document control, auditing, QA/QC, and delivery assurance activities.
- Collaborates with client finance teams for cost reporting and uniform reporting requirements.
- Supports project delivery, project management, and quality control for various project categories.
- Implements controls, compliance training, and improvement initiatives.
- Develops and enforces governance models.
- Supports training and upskilling initiatives related to project controls and data governance.
- Develops and maintains governance strategies intended to audit, measure, and remediate compliance with process and controls expectations.
- Establishes and maintains centralized data management systems for real estate and workplace projects for global consistency.
- Ensures accuracy, transparency, and compliance with all project‑related data.
- Implements rigorous data approval processes and audit trails to support compliance and reporting.
- Partners with C&W IT, Client Technology and Data Governance Teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration of data platforms and adherence to client standards.
- Provides regular updates, project reporting, and performance dashboards to senior management.
- Leverages analytics and reporting tools to monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drives process innovation and best‑practice sharing across the project management team.
- Supports sustainability and operational excellence initiatives through data‑led optimization.
- Active participation in town halls and outreach programs to drive future innovation and talent engagement.
- Centralized project controls and data governance frameworks for global consistency.
- Standardized protocols and playbooks for project delivery.
- Comprehensive project documentation, including risk assessments, compliance reports, and performance dashboards.
- Assistance with the creation and maintenance of project playbooks and protocols for consistent delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with technology and business intelligence tools for project management and data governance.
- Act as a key integrator and connector across all client locations, facilitating collaboration between project management, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Education: B.S. in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Data/Analytics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a project management governance or support role. Proven experience in a Program Management Office (PMO), overseeing internal and external delivery teams handling corporate upfit projects in occupied work environments.
- Additional Qualifications: Significant knowledge of project and change management methodologies, techniques, and processes; PMP or PgMP a plus.

Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience/competency with reporting platforms such as PowerBI. - Key
