Dir Insights and Segmentation

Job Summary

This role leads enterprise donor insights, behavioral segmentation, and audience analytics strategies that drive donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth. It is responsible for translating donor, market, and experience data into actionable business strategies, leading enterprise testing and optimization initiatives, and enabling data-informed decision making across Marketing and Donor Experience. The position partners cross-functionally with Analytics, Campaigns, Operations, and Executive Leadership to improve donor targeting, lifecycle engagement, and overall business performance through scalable insights frameworks and segmentation methodologies.

Develop and lead a comprehensive donor segmentation strategy, with a primary focus on behavioral and lifecycle-based segmentation.

Establish frameworks and governance to ensure consistent application of segmentation across Marketing and Donor Experience.

Analyze data from multiple sources (marketing performance, donor behavior, VoC, third-party data) to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.

Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform strategy, planning, and prioritization across the organization.

Establish and lead a coordinated test-and-learn roadmap, identifying key hypotheses and ensuring structured, prioritized experimentation.

Partner with Campaigns, Donor Experience, and Performance Enablement teams to apply insights to campaign targeting, journey optimization, and local activation strategies.

Collaborate with Business Analytics and data teams to support advanced analysis, modeling, and measurement frameworks.

Define and monitor key performance indicators related to donor behavior, engagement, and growth to guide decision-making.

Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Build and scale capabilities, tools, and processes that enable a more insight-driven culture and improve how data is translated into action.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus
• Eight (8) years of experience in audience insights, segmentation, analytics, or related fields

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of XM Platforms required (e.g. Qualtrics, Medallia, etc.)
• Ability to develop and apply segmentation strategies in a complex, multi-channel environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into business-relevant insights
• Skilled in working with multiple data sources, including behavioral, transactional, and VoC data
• Ability to test methodologies and performance measurement approaches
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
• Experience influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders within a matrixed organization preferred

Position works in-office at the corporate location.
