Job Title:Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant (GL & FAH)

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to analyze current processes, gather and document requirements, design future-state solutions, and support successful Oracle Fusion Finance implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead functional consulting activities for Oracle Fusion Finance, primarily focusing on General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Collaborate with business users and finance stakeholders to understand existing business processes, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and fit-gap analyses.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
- Develop To-Be Solution Design and process mapping documentation aligned with Oracle Fusion best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed Business Process Documentation (BPD).
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion GL and FAH modules, including accounting rules, mappings, journal processing, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical and development teams.
- Work with integration teams to define source system accounting requirements and downstream reporting needs.
- Develop functional test strategies, test scripts, and test case scenarios for SIT and UAT.
- Support defect management, issue resolution, and root cause analysis during project lifecycle phases.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Project Accounting.
- Provide production support, system enhancements, and continuous process improvement recommendations.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation activities, and period-end financial processes.
- Support user training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Skills:
- 8+ years of Oracle ERP Finance consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL).
- Strong expertise in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Experience in end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementation projects.
- Expertise in preparing:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents
- To-Be Solution Mapping Documents
- Business Process Documentation (BPD)
- Functional Test Cases and Scenarios
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and subledger accounting.
- Experience conducting requirement workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion accounting configurations, ledger setup, chart of accounts, journal processing, and accounting rule management.
- Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and documentation skills.
Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials integrations and reporting solutions.
- Exposure to Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Financial Services or Banking domain experience preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies.
- Understanding of data migration and reconciliation activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Oracle Fusion Financials certifications preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or other finance-related certifications are a plus.
