Disaster Recovery Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial services sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager to join their team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be part of the Disaster Recovery and Cloud Resiliency department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Manage and coordinate disaster recovery testing for multiple cloud-hosted applications, ensuring testing activities are planned, scheduled, executed, and documented in accordance with program requirements.

+ Partner with application owners, cloud engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and business stakeholders to establish testing scope, objectives, recovery scenarios, and success criteria.

+ Develop and maintain integrated testing schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and remediation tracking across a large application portfolio.

+ Facilitate test planning meetings, readiness reviews, test execution bridges, post-test reviews, and governance forums.

+ Coordinate recovery validation activities and ensure achievement of established RTO, RPO, and resiliency objectives.

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven experience in IT Project Management, Technical Program Management, Disaster Recovery, or related fields.

+ Strong understanding of cloud technologies, disaster recovery principles, and operational resilience frameworks.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams, stakeholders, and project dependencies within a complex environment.

+ Experience developing and maintaining project plans, risk management artifacts, and executive communications.

+ Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Service Now, and SharePoint.
