An established retail organization is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to support its fast-paced E-commerce and Digital Marketing team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the accuracy of product and marketing data that powers the online customer experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and thrives in an environment where attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital marketing who enjoys working with data, collaborating across teams, and supporting initiatives that directly impact online sales and customer engagement.
What You'll Do- Maintain and update product, brand, category, and SKU-level data across e-commerce platforms.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accurate online product information.
- Support onsite search, navigation, merchandising, and digital optimization initiatives through ongoing data maintenance.
- Prepare weekly reporting summaries and provide updates on assigned projects and priorities.
- Monitor and manage daily work queues, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Analyze data to identify inconsistencies, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, and Digital Operations teams to support business initiatives.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and ad hoc data requests.
- Help ensure digital content and product information are accurate, complete, and optimized for the customer experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, e-commerce, merchandising, or a related field.
- Experience working with product, brand, or SKU-level data.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, filtering, and data manipulation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Corporate retail experience strongly preferred.
- E-commerce or digital marketing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting digital merchandising, onsite search, navigation, or product information management (PIM) systems.
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
