Lead Dev Ops Platform Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Lead Dev Ops Platform Engineer to support enterprise Dev Sec Ops automation and cloud-native platform engineering. This role focuses on Git Ops-driven CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/Open Shift platforms, and deployment automation across Azure and GCP. The ideal candidate has experience in large, regulated environments and is passionate about improving developer productivity through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Harness, Maven/Gradle, and Python.
- Automate application deployments across Kubernetes and Open Shift (OCP) environments.
- Enhance Git Ops workflows, deployment orchestration, quality gates, and pipeline automation.
- Develop automation solutions using Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible preferred).
- Support platform and application troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Embed Dev Sec Ops , governance, audit controls, and observability into deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve self-service platforms and continuous delivery capabilities.
- 5+ years of Dev Ops or Platform Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Git Hub Actions, Harness, Maven/Gradle, Python CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Open Shift.
- Experience implementing Git Ops and Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD governance, quality gates, security controls, and regulated environments.
- Experience supporting cloud platforms, preferably Azure and GCP.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Kubernetes and/or Dev Ops certifications.
- Familiarity with AI agentic frameworks.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
