Brooksource is seeking a Salesforce Production Support Engineer to join our Fortune 500 financial services Client’s Level 3 production support team responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of critical Salesforce applications. This role is ideal for someone with foundational Salesforce platform knowledge who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, investigating production incidents, and partnering with development teams to maintain a stable Salesforce environment.

The successful candidate will act as a key member of the production support organization, monitoring application health, responding to alerts, supporting batch processes, and performing root cause analysis when issues arise. This position offers exposure to Salesforce administration, production operations, application monitoring, data analysis, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of Salesforce production environments.
  • Respond to production alerts, incidents, and service disruptions with urgency and ownership.
  • Troubleshoot and replicate production issues to determine root cause and identify whether resolution requires:
  • Operational intervention
  • Configuration changes
  • Escalation to Salesforce development teams for code changes
  • Monitor and support Salesforce batch jobs, ensuring successful execution and investigating failures when they occur.
  • Perform bulk data load support activities and assist business teams with data-related processes.
  • Partner closely with Salesforce developers, architects, production operations teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Analyze application logs, integration failures, and system behavior to identify trends and prevent recurring issues.
  • Utilize Salesforce Workbench, Developer Console, and other troubleshooting tools to investigate system and data issues.
  • Perform Salesforce data analysis using SOQL and Salesforce data models.
  • Assist with Salesforce platform operational activities, including certificate management, license monitoring, storage utilization, and capacity planning.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, including automation opportunities around monitoring and operational processes.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production incidents and critical system issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-4 years of Salesforce administration, production support, application support, or related experience.
  • Foundational Salesforce platform knowledge, including Salesforce Administration and/or Salesforce Support experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce Workbench for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of SOQL and Salesforce data models.
  • Experience monitoring production applications and responding to incidents.
  • Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce integrations, APIs, authentication, and connected systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with incident management and production operations processes.
  • Experience supporting batch jobs and scheduled processes.
  • Exposure to certificate management and platform maintenance activities.
  • Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements or automation opportunities.
