- Release Management Position type:
Contract Duration: 12 months

Location:

- 3 days onsite role at Plano, TX/Charlotte, NC/Richmond, VA As a Delivery Lead
- Release Management, you will:

  • 3+ Years of experience working as Delivery Lead in a Change and Release Support role
  • Evaluate release readiness, operational risk, system dependencies, rollback strategies, and implementation impacts before execution.
  • Escalate release conflicts, critical risks, and production stability concerns to leadership.
  • Background in Release and Change Management role with hands on experience with Remedy or Service Now.
  • Background in Work Management role with Jira or Azure Dev Ops experience
  • Background in Documentation role with Confluence or Share Point
  • Background in Reporting role supporting Tableau or Starburst or MS Excel
  • Background in Delivery & Deployment supporting CI/CD Tool chains

The Release Coordination Delivery Lead is responsible for governing, planning, coordinating, and executing technology releases across multiple delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented safely, predictably, and in compliance with Enterprise Change Management standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination for release events, providing end-to-end visibility into release health, risk, readiness, and execution while protecting production stability and enabling business objectives.

The role acts as a liaison between technology, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders, driving cross-functional collaboration, managing dependencies, facilitating release readiness reviews, overseeing deployment activities, and maintaining release governance processes. Success in this position requires strong leadership, risk management, operational discipline, analytical thinking, executive communication, and the ability to influence outcomes across large and complex technology organizations.

  • Release Event Orchestration and Tracking
  • Ensures adherence with the Enterprise Change Management and Data Management standards
  • Develop, finetune and maintain release and change dashboards
  • Review daily planned and requested changes across the organization
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and verify completion of testing, approvals, implementation plans, communication plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain release, deployment, and change management dashboards to provide actionable operational insights and support executive reporting.
  • Coach and Coordinate post-implementation reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities to improve release quality and operational effectiveness.
