Job Description

• Responsible for designing and implementing information systems which will adequately support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization.
• Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will offer security and will be effectively integrated with current applications.
• Ensures that all systems are working at optimal levels and offers support to application development department regarding new technologies and system requirements.
• Has thorough knowledge of infrastructure, application programming, and web and software applications.
• This specific position requires expertise with the Azure cloud, and more specifically the Azure Government regions.
• 10+ years of experience is preferred working full time with Azure, having expertise in the networking/VNet/routing/VWAN, Security, Identity and Access, Key Vault, Express Route/Express Route Direct, the various PaaS services, VMs, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Private End Points (PEPs), Azure Dev Ops & pipelines, Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Terraform, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• The position will involve hands-on to assist team members with designs and development of Azure infrastructure stories, as well as extensive work in planning.
• This position interacts extensively with the technical staff, project teams, the customer, and all levels of management/senior management.
• The ability to listen and communicate effectively and concisely offering an appropriate level of detail given a target audience is required
