Glassbox Engineer

Secondary:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years

· Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience

· Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience

· Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, Blade Logic NSH, Python, Perl

· Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues

· Experience with Glassbox especially, but other monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, Site Scope, etc.

· Experience with deployment tools such as Blade Logic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or Auto Sys

· Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)

· Strong debugging and analytical skills

· Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, trace route, curl)

· Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together

· Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions

· Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision

· Working knowledge of regular expressions
