Finance Technology Innovation Leader
This role leads the strategy, prioritization, and execution of technology-enabled innovation across Finance. This role partners with Finance, Technology, Data, Risk, and enterprise transformation teams to identify practical opportunities to modernize Finance processes, improve data and reporting capabilities, scale AI and automation, strengthen controls, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The leader serves as a senior Finance translator between business priorities and technology delivery, ensuring innovation is grounded in Finance needs, aligned to enterprise standards, and adopted in a disciplined, well-controlled manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Data, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
- 12+ years of experience in Finance, financial services, finance transformation, technology strategy, data and analytics, AI/automation enablement, consulting, or related roles.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Technology, Data, Risk, Controls, and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to shape strategy, build business cases, prioritize complex work, and deliver measurable outcomes through technology-enabled change.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes, data flows, reporting, forecasting, controls, governance, and technology-enabled operating models.
- Executive communication, stakeholder influence, structured problem solving, change leadership, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or relevant certification such as CPA, CFA, PMP, Agile/Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma, or data/analytics certification.
- Experience with ERP modernization, cloud finance platforms, planning and forecasting tools, management reporting, workflow automation, AI, machine learning, or emerging technology adoption.
- Banking or financial services experience across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Controls, or Audit environments.
- Experience working with vendor partners, technology delivery teams, product teams, or enterprise innovation functions.
