This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst based in the United States.

This role is designed for an experienced cybersecurity professional who thrives on understanding emerging threats, attacker behaviors, and the intelligence needed to protect organizations. You will play a key role in advancing threat intelligence capabilities by analyzing real-world incidents, external intelligence sources, and evolving attack patterns. The position combines deep technical investigation with strategic communication, helping security teams and stakeholders make informed decisions.

You will collaborate closely with security operations, threat hunting, engineering, and product teams to transform intelligence into actionable outcomes. Accountabilities:

As a senior contributor within the threat intelligence function, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and operationalizing intelligence to strengthen security operations and customer protection. You will connect technical findings with business impact, improve intelligence processes, and serve as a trusted advisor across security and cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor and curate intelligence from open-source reporting, proprietary feeds, internal incidents, and relevant threat communities.
  • Evaluate intelligence sources for credibility, relevance, operational value, and potential impact before translating findings into actionable guidance.
  • Analyze security incidents to identify root causes, attacker techniques, exploited vulnerabilities, and emerging threat trends.
  • Develop comprehensive intelligence reports covering indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, procedures (TTPs), risks, and recommended defensive actions.
  • Communicate intelligence findings effectively to technical teams, customers, leadership audiences, and broader security communities.
  • Maintain and improve curated intelligence resources through continuous analysis of internal incidents and external threat data.
  • Partner with security operations, threat hunting, detection engineering, product, and engineering teams to operationalize intelligence insights.
  • Research new technologies, intelligence sources, and methodologies to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
  • Support customer discussions and strategic engagements related to advanced threats and evolving attacker behavior.
  • Improve workflows, tools, and processes for collecting, assessing, distributing, and applying threat intelligence.
  • Mentor developing analysts and provide subject matter expertise during complex investigations and incident reviews.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong cybersecurity expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to transform complex threat information into meaningful recommendations. You should be comfortable working across technical and business audiences while managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving security environment.

  • Approximately 5–8 years of professional experience in threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, detection engineering, or a related cybersecurity discipline.
  • Strong understanding of cyberattack methods, attacker behaviors, and common tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience conducting detailed incident analysis, including identifying root causes, vulnerabilities, and adversary activity.
  • Ability to assess intelligence from multiple sources and determine what information is credible, relevant, and actionable.
  • Familiarity with malware analysis reports, automated sandboxing tools, and basic manual malware inspection techniques.
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to adapt communication for engineers, analysts, executives, customers, and public audiences.
  • Expertise in at least one technical domain such as data analysis, networking, operating systems, security controls, or programming.
