Candidate can reside in any of the following areas:

Charlotte, NC | Cincinnati, OH | Raleigh, NC | Plainfield, IN | St. Petersburg or Lake Mary, FL

Onsite 1 day a week in one of these locations

1+ Year Contract

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions across MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Wireless, VPN, Internet Edge, and Cellular environments
• Engineer and support Cisco-based solutions including Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, SD-WAN, ISE, and Secure Firewall
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabrics and multi-site/multi-pod data center architectures
• Lead technical design for MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS
• Design and support VPN, SD-WAN, SASE, and zero-trust access solutions
• Build network automation using APIs, Python, and Ansible
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and capacity/performance monitoring
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards and best practices

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in IT with at least 4 years designing and supporting Cisco Systems products (or 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years Cisco in lieu of a degree)
• Strong grasp of network capacity planning, security principles, and network management best practices
• Comfortable working independently and coordinating across multiple teams and vendors
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, SCADA communications design, or Python/Ansible automation a plus
