Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Data Analytics and Technology Support department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
- Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
- Location:Charlotte, North Carolina
- Pay Range:$60/hr
- Hybrid: 2x on site per week
- Contract:
4 months duration
- Analyze business and system data to identify trends, discrepancies, gaps, and data-quality issues.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data.
- Trace/backtrack data through multiple systems and tables to identify its source and understand how it was transformed.
- Perform source-to-target data analysis and data lineage investigations.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to understand data flows, business rules, and system dependencies.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data analytics.
- Experience working with large datasets and investigating data discrepancies.
- Ability to trace data from downstream outputs back to source systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams.
