The IT Support Specialist provides hands‑on IT support for both corporate office and manufacturing operations across the company’s U.S. locations. This position serves as a key local IT resource, providing responsive day‑to‑day technical support while working closely with the Global IT team in Italy.
What You’ll Do- Provide day‑to‑day IT support to employees across corporate office and manufacturing environments.
- Respond promptly to support requests from users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Relocate and provide hands‑on support for manufacturing and production - floor IT equipment, including workstations, printers, scanners and related devices and specific applications and tools, ensuring minimal downtime for production operations.
- Serve as the local point of contact for IT issues and coordinate escalations with the Global IT team when issues require additional expertise or system‑level access.
- Create, classify, document, and maintain support requests within the company's IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Provide user training and guidance on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Global IT team to deploy and support IT projects and initiatives at US locations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support framework.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, vocational training, or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, IT technical support, help desk role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of networking and telecommunications such as routers, switches, phones, firewalls, and Ethernet cabling.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and determine when escalation is appropriate.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Full‑time position / Day Shift
- Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work based on business needs.

Compensation for this role will be based on experience, location, and market conditions. A salary range will be provided where required by law.
