Web & Email Information Security Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Information Security Analyst to join their team. As a Information Security Analyst, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Operations team supporting Web & Email Security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location Preference: Charlotte NC, Dallas TX

Contract Duration: 18 Months

Pay: $55 - $57/hr W2

Schedule: 3x on site per week

• Support the organization's Web & Email Security program through administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of security controls.
• Analyze security events, alerts, and trends to identify emerging risks and policy violations.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams to maintain secure web access and enforce email security controls.
• Participate in incident response activities related to web, email, or cloud-based threats.
• Conduct security reviews of business requests involving internet access, email capabilities, and third‑party applications.

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Operations, or Risk Management.
• Knowledge of web security, email security, SaaS security, or cloud security concepts.
• Experience analyzing security events, logs, and operational data.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security controls, and risk management practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
