Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Analyst 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Data Analyst 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Data Management and Analytics department supporting the Global Payments & Liquidity Analytics (GPLA) Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Analyst 4 - Contingent
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $55 - $59 an hour
What's the Job?- Develop a comprehensive understanding of tools and databases managed by the team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the infrastructure team and technical/business partners.
- Manage data infrastructure projects, including creating business requirements and reviewing technical documents.
- Lead discussions with subject matter experts and data consumers on enhancements and issue resolution.
- Perform moderate to complex business and data analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or business systems design.
- 4+ years of experience writing moderate to complex SQL code in platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hive, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven ability to review SQL code and assist in defect resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working with data security, governance, and compliance standards.
