Construction Service Technician

Barringer Construction seeks a Construction Service Technician to support and optimize our construction-focused software solutions. In this hybrid role, you will install, configure, and maintain applications and related hardware for job sites, provide on-site and remote technical support, and train construction teams on best practices. You'll troubleshoot systems, assist with cloud-based deployments, document service activities, and collaborate closely with developers and project managers to ensure reliable, high-performing tools that drive productivity across complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain construction-focused software and hardware solutions at client sites
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for construction project teams
• Troubleshoot system, network, and integration issues related to construction management tools
• Train end-users on software features, updates, and best practices
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to implement system enhancements
• Document service activities, configurations, and resolutions in ticketing systems
• Support deployment and upgrades of cloud-based construction management platforms
• Ensure data integrity, backups, and basic cybersecurity practices at job sites
• Assist with system demos, pilots, and user acceptance testing for new releases
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
