IT Business Analyst - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst - Hybrid for a contract to hire position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month opportunity.

This role serves as a key facilitator between Business and IT, working closely with business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources to define and deliver designs and stories that meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine business and technology skills to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring all systems support and conform to business specifications throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to define and deliver designs/stories that meet business objectives
• Combine business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, adaptation and presentation skills
• Serve as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and play a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle
• Provide technical and business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications
• Act as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors
• Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed
• Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable or brings other domain knowledge that improves the overall function of the business to team interface
• Constantly look for ways to improve the interaction with the business and the quality and speed of the requirements gathering and requirements build

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working experience in Agile tools like JIRA
• Experience understanding, documenting, and executing project requirements
• Ability to document acceptance criteria and design details in specific formatting per change management governance requirements
• Strong time management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office experience
• Share Point
• Confluence
• Able to work on a hybrid schedule

Desired skills:

• Understanding of API and OAuth technologies
• Understanding of UI and user experience requirements including ADA requirements

Pay range: $43.56 - $51.56 per hour
