Business Execution Consultant 3 – Contingent

In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in moderately complex business execution initiatives supporting Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation capabilities. This consultant will analyze requirements, design solutions, build proof-of-concept configurations, and coordinate testing activities to validate functionality and business fit. The role supports automated merit-increase enhancements within Workday Compensation Review while helping deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives and an intuitive user experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Workday Solution Design:
  Configure and validate Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concept configurations to assess functionality and feasibility.
• Analyze compensation processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design scalable solutions supporting automated merit-increase processes.
• Partner with system and business teams to ensure solutions align with requirements.

Requirements management includes:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Capture business processes, data flows, functional requirements, user experience needs, and configuration considerations.
• Create clear supporting documentation and implementation artifacts.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable delivery requirements.

Testing & implementation includes:

• Plan and coordinate configuration and testing activities.
• Develop or review test scenarios and expected outcomes.
• Support end-to-end testing and validation.
• Identify defects, clarify ambiguous requirements, and coordinate resolution.
• Confirm that delivered functionality meets business expectations.

Stakeholder collaboration includes:

• Work with compensation teams, HR business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and testing teams.
• Facilitate requirements discussions and solution reviews.
• Communicate configuration decisions, testing results, and implementation progress.
• Help stakeholders understand Workday capabilities and process impacts.
