The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting detailed research and analysis on competitive intelligence topics to support business strategy and planning. The role also evaluates internal business opportunities, balancing ongoing analyst activities with project-based assignments. The analyst applies advanced analytics, automation, and strategic thinking to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Development
- Define strategic issues by analyzing core problems and opportunities.
- Conduct research and analysis using statistical and machine learning models.
- Assess strategic implications with predictive analytics and scenario modeling.
- Present actionable recommendations using automation-enhanced dashboards.
- Execute strategies and monitor outcomes with automated tracking systems.
- Apply advanced analytics using Python, R, SQL, or Power BI.
- Implement automation solutions with UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or custom scripts.
- Ensure quality assurance through automated validation processes.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with real-time automated reporting.
- Collaborate with innovation teams to develop product/service value propositions.
- Forecast market opportunities using predictive modeling and automated pipelines.
- Conduct competitive assessments with automation tools for competitor data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, competitive intelligence, or data analytics.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and automation tools.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Advanced analytics expertise to identify patterns and inform strategies.
- Automation proficiency to streamline workflows.
- Strategic thinking for long-term business planning.
- Innovation management to support product/process enhancements.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaboration with business, operations, and technology leaders.
- None required; certifications in analytics, automation, or project management are a plus.
