Production Support (Trading Platform

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range: $55-60/Hr;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

As a Production Services Specialist you will help support, maintain and analyze issues for applications used in the Financial Centers. This role is responsible for analyzing complex production issues, and working those to resolution. You will serve as an escalation point to review code, update databases, and provide technical direction and collaborate with other support teams to identify the root cause and execute steps to resolve.

• Strong ability to troubleshoot
• Strong Communication Skills
• 7+ years of application programming experience
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Must have excellent organization skills
• Ability to debug applications
• Splunk, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Understanding of Networks
• Strong C or C++ Skills, Mainframe background, Highly motivated, self starter
