Dev Ops Engineer / Application Support Engineer
This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise Dev Ops platforms, CI/CD pipelines, application hosting environments, and deployment automation processes. The role involves partnering with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery and platform stability. Key functions include providing environment support, incident resolution, release coordination, vulnerability remediation, and driving continuous process improvements through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain enterprise Dev Ops platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage application hosting environments and deployment automation.
- Provide production and non-production environment support and incident resolution.
- Coordinate releases and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security findings, prioritize remediation, and partner with development teams to resolve vulnerabilities.
- Track and report on End-of-Life (EOL) technologies and develop remediation plans.
- Manage Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS), including identifying and remediating open-source vulnerabilities.
- Produce executive and technical reporting on remediation efforts and compliance metrics.
Required Qualifications
Technical
Skills:
- Strong Linux background and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with web servers (Apache/Nginx), application support, and production operations.
- Knowledge of CMS platforms such as AEM or Team Site.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and build automation.
- Experience with environment management (DEV/SIT/PROD), deployment troubleshooting, and CDN technologies.
- Skills in application monitoring, logging, incident support, and production support.
- Primary skill in Core Java.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Team Site and AEM is a plus.
