We’re looking for a Senior Scrum Master to guide high-performing, cross-functional teams and help deliver meaningful products and outcomes.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $94k - $96k/year & benefits (see below).

The

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices.
  • Remove impediments and help teams stay focused, aligned, and productive.
  • Support backlog refinement, release planning, dependency management, and risk resolution.
  • Promote collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Use delivery metrics and team insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to address systemic challenges and strengthen Agile ways of working.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters and contribute to our broader Agile community.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Lean, and Kanban practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience working with software development or technology teams.
  • A track record of removing obstacles and improving team delivery.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.
  • Scrum or Agile certification, such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe, is preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
  • Certified Agile Coach or equivalent advanced Agile certification.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams or Agile Release Trains.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks, including SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.
  • Experience in a product-led, cloud, SaaS, financial services, healthcare, or enterprise technology environment.
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops, CI/CD, product management, and software development life cycles.
  • Experience using metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, predictability, and cumulative flow.
  • Experience mentoring junior Scrum Masters or leading an Agile Community of Practice.
