Scrum Master

Description

• Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
• Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events:
  Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives. Primary Skill:

  Required Qualifications
  * 5+ years of experience as Agile Scrum Master
  * 5+ Work experience with JIRA Issue and Project Tracking Software Desired Qualifications 5+ Work experience on large and complex projects Agile coaching experience Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Information Technology or Similar. Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables Working knowledge Application Lifecycle Management Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team) Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Process and detailed oriented Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments.
  
  Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex fast paced environment without sacrificing quality or timelines.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
