Our client is undergoing an exciting period of growth within the US, therefore have a number of opportunities within their expanding procurement team. We are seeking a range of levels of experience and have a particular interest in the following category areas:

• IT & Technology (AWS, ERPs, cloud platforms, Microsoft Dynamics, etc would be of particular interest)
• Energy & Utilities
• Generalist Indirects

These positions offer experienced procurement professionals the chance to really excel their career. Working across multiple sectors and a diverse range of spend areas. These are fast-paced roles and you will be familiar in successfully managing and influencing senior clients and/or stakeholders with strong experience of savings delivery within a high spend environment. The roles will provide you with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in the US across multiple different industries and categories and give you exposure to a variety of exciting large scale procurement transformation programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with key stakeholders and analyze data to create category management approaches.
• Advise and agree on the procurement strategy for high spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings through hands on category management including undertaking tenders, negotiations and auctions.
• Provide the enquiry, insight and creative thought needed to deliver a step change in supply chain performance.
• Influence stakeholders to secure agreement to proposed solutions.
• Use of leading edge tools and processes and creative thinking to design solutions which deliver rapid cost savings and improvements in performance.
• Deliver projects within agreed timescales.

Knowledge, Skills &

Qualifications:

• 3-10 years' procurement experience in a major USA or international company.
• Good negotiation skills and natural persuasion.
• Good understanding of supply chain and procurement practices.
• Category Management experience in IT, Indirects, Energy or Utilities
• Strong track record of savings delivery within a high spend environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Positive and proactive attitude, confident in taking personal initiative.
