About the Role

Sound Physicians is seeking an IT Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our intelligent automation portfolio, spanning AI-enabled solutions and robotic process automation (RPA). In this role, you will partner with clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders to identify high-value automation opportunities, translate them into a prioritized backlog, and drive delivery through agile teams and vendor partners. You will be accountable for the full product lifecycle, from opportunity discovery and business case development through build, deployment, adoption, and value realization.

The ideal candidate blends product management discipline with practical knowledge of automation technologies and thrives at the intersection of business processes, technology, and change management in a healthcare environment.

Under the guidance of the IT Solution Management, this individual develops and maintains product documentation, communication and training materials, business requirements, and user stories. The Product Manager stays up to date with industry trends, emerging features, security/controls requirements, and industry best practices to drive optimal adoption and utilization of Sound Physicians' platforms and workflows.

The Details:

This is a full-time, contract position with the potential for future conversion to a permanent position, subject to business needs and organizational approval. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Team Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with product and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Collaborate with vendors on platform enhancements, integrations, and solution designs.
  • Support IA governance model and adoption
Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of vendor products from inception to retirement.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate product rollouts and new implementations in partnership with development and business teams.
  • Ensure iterative releases of technology are supported by user acceptance testing / validation.
Stakeholder

Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, regional/site operations, enrollment, finance, accounting, clinical, marketing, sales) to understand business problems, business processes, requirements, and feedback.
