Technical Product Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Analyst with strong experience in data analysis, relational databases, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to support product initiatives, deliver business insights, and drive successful project outcomes. This role requires leadership capabilities and the ability to analyze complex datasets to support business and technical decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Perform data analysis and validation using complex SQL queries.
- Work with large‑scale relational databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and development teams to support product delivery.
- Lead and coordinate activities within the team to ensure successful project execution.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support business decisions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to Scrum and Kanban processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems and processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiencies.
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Analyst.
- Strong experience with relational database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Advanced SQL skills, including:
- Joins
- Subqueries
- Aggregations
- Data validation and analysis
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience leading teams and coordinating project activities.
- Experience working in enterprise‑scale environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates must be willing to attend interviews at Cognizant or client offices located in Charlotte, NC or New York, NY, if required.
- Upon selection, candidates must be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.
The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
