MDM Data Engineering

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (3 to 5 days onsite)

• Seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Informatica MDM and Informatica Cloud MDM to lead and optimize enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Responsible for architecture, design, development, deployment, governance, performance optimization, and technical leadership across enterprise MDM initiatives.

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, and deployment of Informatica MDM and Informatica Cloud MDM solutions.
• Design and configure MDM data models, integration patterns, workflows, and solution architectures based on business requirements.
• Work across both on-premises Informatica MDM and cloud-based Informatica Cloud MDM environments.
• Configure and manage MDM components, including:
• Staging
• Loading
• Matching
• Develop and optimize fuzzy matching and survivorship rules to improve data quality and accuracy.
• Define and implement data lifecycle management, metadata management, data stewardship, and governance processes.
• Manage data ingestion, publishing, exception handling, and error resolution using SIF and Address Doctor.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data ingestion, transformation, matching, and publishing workflows.
• Utilize strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Apply ETL knowledge to integrate Informatica MDM with enterprise and cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS.
• Design scalable, high-performing MDM solutions with a focus on performance tuning and operational optimization.
• Ensure MDM solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, product/platform teams, and data consumers to define and refine MDM capabilities.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and guide MDM strategy and implementation decisions.
• Lead configuration, deployment, administration, and environment management across multiple MDM environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including:
• Technical specifications
• Establish reusable MDM patterns and best practices across projects and teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data consistency, quality, accessibility, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
• Support platform administration, production support, incident resolution, and performance tuning activities.

• 11 to 15 years of experience in Informatica MDM and Informatica Cloud MDM.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing enterprise MDM solutions.
• Experience working with both on-premises and cloud-based MDM environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
