A rapidly growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Project Manager to support major business transformation and system implementation initiatives.
This is an Operations/Functional Project Management role — not a Technical Project Manager position.
We are looking for a Project Manager who understands healthcare operations and business workflows and has previously helped lead the functional side of a CRM implementation. This individual will partner closely with technology teams but will primarily represent the operational side of the business throughout the implementation lifecycle.
The Project Manager will work across Operations, Technology, Product, Client Services, Training, Quality, Compliance, and leadership to ensure business requirements are understood, workflows are properly designed, stakeholders remain aligned, testing and training are completed, and operational teams are fully prepared for implementation and go-live.
Projects may include CRM implementations, operational process transformation, system migrations, AI-enabled workflow enhancements, and other enterprise initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead healthcare operational projects from planning and discovery through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
- Represent the business/operations side of CRM and enterprise system implementations.
- Partner with operational leaders and end users to gather business requirements and understand current-state and future-state workflows.
- Serve as the liaison between Operations and Technology throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Product, Client Services, Compliance, Training, Quality, and other business functions.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements sessions, workflow discussions, status meetings, and implementation-readiness reviews.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, business approvals, and resolution of implementation-related concerns.
- Drive operational readiness activities including process changes, documentation, communications, training coordination, and go-live preparation.
- Ensure new CRM functionality and system enhancements align with operational workflows and end-user needs.
- Maintain RAID logs, project documentation, status reporting, decision logs, and other PMO artifacts.
- Identify and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
- Provide clear project updates to operational leaders, clients, technical partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Support change management and adoption efforts to ensure new systems and processes are successfully incorporated into daily operations.
- Manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- 3+ years of Project Management experience supporting business or operational initiatives.
- Professional experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical services, specialty pharmacy, patient support, healthcare technology, biotechnology, medical devices, or a closely related healthcare/life sciences environment.
- Previous experience leading or supporting the functional/business side of a CRM implementation from planning through go-live.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating operational needs into implementation plans.
- Experience with UAT, workflow/process design, operational readiness, training, change management, and go-live activities.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional and matrixed project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively bridge the gap between business/operations…
