Agile Scrum Master

Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)
We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master to support the OCP, Pega, and EDAP scrum teams. This role encompasses core Scrum responsibilities as well as project and release management duties. The position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Agile teams and apply Scrum principles to deliver business value.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI preparation.
- Ensure the correct use of and adherence to the Scrum process.
- Manage deliverables and track work using Jira.
- Execute on Enterprise Change Management requirements and adhere to enterprise change standards.
- Work with the team to remove impediments efficiently.
- Coordinate deployment events and perform post-production validation.
- Manage end-to-end release management activities.
- Facilitate communication and integrate with project, technology, and business partners.
- Establish and maintain status templates and provide weekly status updates.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile, including hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
- Ability to lead and influence teams in adopting Agile principles.
- Proficiency with Jira for managing deliverables and tracking work.
- Understanding of Enterprise Change Standards, including change controls and risk approvals.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and facilitation skills.
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Project management experience beyond Scrum facilitation.
- Experience establishing supporting documentation for governance routines, such as playbooks and RACI models.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Experience with Program Increment (PI) preparation.
- Broader exposure to multiple Agile frameworks, including Kanban for flow-based work.
