Quantitative Analytics Specialist - Contingent

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Specialist 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Quantitative Analytics Specialist 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Contingent Solutions department supporting Counter party Credit Risk Modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain counter party credit risk models supporting cross-margin methodologies.
• Derive analytical formulas, validate modeling assumptions, and identify gaps in existing implementations.
• Improve or replace legacy methodologies using modern stochastic and capital markets modeling techniques.
• Support modeling efforts across complex financial products such as equity swaps, metals derivatives, energy derivatives, and convertible bonds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including model owners, business stakeholders, technology teams, auditors, and project managers.

• Expertise in Python programming for developing and maintaining quantitative libraries and frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Deep understanding of cross-margining concepts within prime brokerage and derivatives environments.
• Ability to derive mathematical formulas and implement them programmatically.
• Experience with stochastic modeling, probability theory, and quantitative finance principles.
