The BI Reports Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful BI reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure the availability of accurate and timely data.

Reports To: Director of Analytics Engineering
Compensation: $80,000 and up, depending on qualifications
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain interactive and easy-to-understand BI reports and dashboards using BI tools (Sigma Computing/Snowflake)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support business strategies
- Implement data visualization best practices to present complex information clearly and effectively
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports function as intended
- Monitor and optimize report performance for improved efficiency
- Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize BI tools and reports effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent job experience
- 3 years of experience as a BI Report Developer or in a similar role
- 3 years of experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Sigma Computing, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- 3 years of experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of statistical analysis techniques
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
