Job Title/Role:
Manager, Data Management (Individual Contributor)
Location/Work Model:

  • Hybrid; frequent on-site presence at Cambridge, MA or Research Triangle Park, NC (depending on applicant location)
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Execute assigned data management deliverables aligned to analytics and reporting priorities
  • Support ingestion, transformation, and refresh of commercial data sources within established pipelines
  • Own discrete data sources, feeds, or pipeline components within a defined scope
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks (accuracy and completeness)
  • Implement data mappings and transformation logic per requirements defined by senior team members
  • Respond to analytics/reporting data requests and clarify data issues as needed
  • Coordinate with IT and platform teams to run pipelines and troubleshoot routine processing issues
  • Support external data vendor data loads, refresh cycles, and issue follow-ups
  • Maintain data definitions, assumptions, and documentation for assigned data sources
  • Identify data issues, elevate risks, and support resolution using established processes
  • Apply existing data management standards, controls, and best practices

  • Deep knowledge of pharma data, focused on US-based data
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Data Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related)
  • 3+ years in data management, analytics enablement, or related roles (biotech/pharma, healthcare, or consulting)
  • Experience with commercial data sources (CRM, claims, prescription, specialty pharmacy, market data)
  • Thorough knowledge of at least one: IQVIA, Komodo, Clarivate
  • Hands-on experience supporting data pipelines end-to-end (ingestion to analytics-ready delivery)
  • Data validation, reconciliation, and data quality check experience
  • Ability to interpret/implement data requirements, mappings, and documentation
  • SQL and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud data warehouses)
  • Experience working with analytics, reporting, and IT partners
