We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops / Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure automation, cloud platform engineering, container orchestration, and CI/CD implementation. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Kubernetes and Open Shift platforms, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible, and managing cloud-native workloads across AWS and Azure environments. The candidate should also have strong experience in production support, observability, incident management, and platform reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes, Open Shift, EKS, and AKS platforms across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- Build and maintain Docker images, container registries, Helm charts, and Kubernetes objects including Deployments, Services, Config Maps, Secrets, and Ingress resources.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, ELB, Route 53, and Cloud Watch.
- Create and execute Ansible playbooks and roles for server provisioning, application deployments, OS patching, configuration management, and environment automation using Ansible Tower/AWX.
- Build, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, and Bitbucket Pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor platform and application health using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, Datadog, and AWS Cloud Watch; perform RCA and support P1/P2 incident resolution.
- Support cloud migrations, container platform operations, production deployments, rollback activities, release management, and change management processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Dev Ops Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Application Support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Open Shift 4.x, EKS, AKS, Docker, Helm, kubectl, and oc CLI.
- Strong experience provisioning and managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ELB, Route 53, and Cloud Watch.
- Experience with Azure platform services including AKS, ACR, Azure Dev Ops, and Key Vault.
- Strong experience developing and executing Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration management, OS patching, and deployments.
- Extensive CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Git Ops tools such as ArgoCD and Tekton.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across Kubernetes workloads including Crash Loop Back Off , OOMKilled, Image Pull Back Off , PVC mount failures, ingress issues, and pod/node resource issues.
- Experience in monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, Datadog, and Cloud Watch.
- Experience supporting production platforms, incident management, root cause analysis, runbook creation, and on-call support.
- Experience working with Linux servers including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments.
- Experience with middleware and application platforms including Apache Tomcat, JBoss/Wild Fly, Web Logic, and IBM MQ.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA, Service Now, and Confluence.
