Site Reliability Engineer II
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help establish a new SRE team from the ground up. This role offers an opportunity to influence and set the culture and approach for ensuring service reliability. The position requires a professional who is inquisitive, dedicated to driving reliability, and focused on the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain Critical User Journeys (CUJs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Conduct blameless post-mortems and manage error budgets.
- Develop and execute role-playing scenarios to test system resilience.
- Utilize coding skills to automate and improve reliability processes.
- Communicate technical concepts and reliability status to business stakeholders with confidence.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Proficiency in coding with at least one programming language.
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Experience with Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in software development or Dev Ops.
- Personable and able to articulate technical positions with confidence.
