Risk Data and Reporting Manager III

• Oversee analysts delivering complex risk reporting, data, business intelligence, and related services
• Lead operational risk domain analytics, including loss and event data, control and issue analytics, KRIs, thresholds, and limits
• Translate operational risk concepts into measurable, data-driven insights for stakeholders
• Partner with Technology and Data Operations to modernize and automate manual KRI and reporting processes
• Ensure analytics are governed, controlled, and audit/regulatory ready
• Recruit, develop, and manage analysts and analytics teammates
• Provide leadership and direction across multiple teams for timely and accurate reports, analyses, data, systems, and operational tasks
• Document key departmental processes and ensure appropriate controls are in place
• Build consultative relationships with senior leaders and identify business objectives and solution requirements
• Plan and manage complex reporting projects driven by process, system, regulatory, or organizational changes
• Set team direction and priorities and manage deliverables against expected results
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 12+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Broad and in-depth knowledge within own professional discipline and related disciplines
• Understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
• Knowledge of competition, regulatory requirements and trends, and strategies for meeting client and regulator demands
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret and explain complex information to varied audiences
• Ability to influence others and handle interpersonal issues tactfully and diplomatically
• Ability to solve unique and highly complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges
• Ability to lead and manage team performance against financial and operational objectives
• English language fluency required
• Preferred: graduate degree in a related field
• Preferred: 15 years of related experience
• Preferred: banking experience, especially operational risk analytics, reporting, business intelligence, systems, technology, data, risk, compliance, or related areas
• Preferred: relevant professional or technical certifications
• Preferred: advanced data wrangling, data engineering, or data science skills
• Preferred: experience with Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Snowflake
• Preferred: operational risk analytics experience, including operational loss and event analysis, RCSA/control and issue analytics, scenario analysis, and emerging risk identification
• Preferred: experience converting risk taxonomy and framework concepts into measurable analytics
• Preferred: hands‑on Key Risk Indicator (KRI) management, including metric definition, thresholds/limits, breach escalation, data sourcing and lineage, data quality, and control standards
• Preferred: risk measurement and reporting packages for senior executives, Board and Committee audiences, regulators, or internal audit
• Preferred: track record of moving manual reporting to automated, governed solutions
• Preferred: people leadership experience, including leading analysts or managers, building analytics capability, managing capacity, and developing a domain-aligned team operating model

Demonstrates expertise in operational risk analytics, data-driven insights, and team leadership, with a strong focus on automating reporting processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Proficient in managing complex reporting projects and building consultative relationships with stakeholders.
