• Provide analytics, executive reporting and operational insights to drive capacity planning and financial governance.
• Monitor and resolve HDFS and Ozone related issues across clusters.
• Investigate cluster performance, storage utilization and capacity concerns.
• Manage quota requests, storage allocation and capacity planning activities.
• Support application onboarding and data platform integration efforts.
• Coordinate with application teams during incident resolution and problem management.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles.

• Strong proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem technologies: HDFS, Hive, Spark, Ozone.
• Experience with Hive Metastore management and table or partition maintenance.
• Background supporting large-scale data warehouse environments on Hadoop.
• Hands-on data ingestion, ETL, and data validation experience.
• Shell scripting and Python automation expertise.
• Experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Hadoop distributions.
• Strong SQL and data analytics skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in executive reporting and storytelling.
• High organization with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, both strategic and tactical.
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and insights.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.

• Experience in capacity management for enterprise data platforms.
• Background in financial governance or technology cost management.
