About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to support and manage large-scale Tableau environments within a complex enterprise infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, optimizing performance, supporting enterprise deployments, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience administering Tableau Server environments supporting 75,000 users , strong Windows Server expertise, and a solid background in automation and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise-scale Tableau Server environments.
- Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability across large server deployments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Tableau Server infrastructure.
- Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and application teams to ensure reliable platform operations.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Tableau Server, Windows infrastructure, and platform performance.
- Implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Support system security, compliance, patching, and performance tuning activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, deployment strategies, and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Document operational procedures, configurations, and support processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or related technical roles.
- 3-5 years of hands‑on Tableau Server Administration experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale Tableau environments with enterprise user populations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and infrastructure support.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in highly available environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting Tableau environments with 75,000 users.
- Proficiency with Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Power Shell scripting and Windows automation.
- Experience with enterprise‑scale deployments, infrastructure engineering, and platform optimization.
- Familiarity with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning best practices.
