Digital Marketing Specialist

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist. This role involves developing and executing data-driven digital marketing strategies to promote the Graduate School's programs, optimizing the online presence, managing paid and organic channels, and leveraging analytics to measure enrollment success.

• Manage and optimize website content focusing on UX, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns and optimize marketing automation workflows.
• Develop and implement SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) strategies, including keyword research and on-page optimizations.
• Plan, launch, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Linked In, and Meta platforms.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics and Hotjar; report on KPIs and ROI.
• Create and distribute digital-first content using AI productivity tools tailored for specific audiences and channels.
• Manage technical marketing platforms ensuring integration between website, CRM, and advertising tools.
• Strong proficiency required in CMS platforms, Google Analytics, SEO tools, PPC ad managers; experience with higher-education CRM preferred.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree; marketing or communications experience preferred.
• Temporary full-time position with 40 hours/week, pay rate of $22.00 per hour, expected length of assignment is 11 months annually.
