Role OverviewThis role supports a Customer Enablement team focused on software development metrics at an enterprise scale. The position involves partnering across engineering and product departments to provide insights on key performance indicators. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of queries and metrics across various database systems, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities for improvement in data adoption and training.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze operational, adoption, and governance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Transform large volumes of complex data into reporting, dashboards, and insights for management.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting solutions, including pivot tables, lookups, and trend analysis.
- Establish and execute repeatable governance controls, data quality assessments, and exception management processes.
- Monitor process adherence, track key performance indicators, and report on policy and governance outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders to investigate data discrepancies and drive issue remediation.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance activities through data analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to governance frameworks, data quality standards, and control documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and executive reporting.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings.
- Experience developing governance reporting, operational metrics, and dashboards.
- Hands-on SQL experience with Oracle databases, including joins and query optimization.
- Experience validating and reconciling data across multiple sources.
- Knowledge of governance, risk management, or process oversight functions in an enterprise environment.
- Understanding of process management principles, including compliance monitoring and issue tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira.
- Communication skills for creating concise reporting and presenting recommendations.
- Experience supporting enterprise governance, risk, compliance, or audit initiatives.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts like data lineage and stewardship.
- Experience building management reporting packages from complex operational data.
- Knowledge of Power BI for data model validation and report quality assurance.
- Exposure to enterprise technology governance processes and software development lifecycle controls.
- Experience with platforms such as Jira, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, or Ansible Tower.
- Working knowledge of Python or Power Shell for reporting automation.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise datasets and performing cross-functional data reconciliation.
