• Proven Micro Strategy Administration skills and experience in managing and tuning production and non‑production environments – we do not want a developer with some administration exposure, we want an individual whose primary role is administration and having some developer exposure is a plus
• Proven experience administering Micro Strategy Intelligence Server and Web Server clustered environments on Linux – Linux expertise is critical

• Object Manager / Command Manager
• Enterprise Manager and/or Operations Manager
• Task automation using System Manager, Command Manager, integration with CI/CD tools
• Micro Strategy Certified Administrator

• Maintenance
• Monitoring
• Experience with Enterprise Manager, Operations Manager
• Monitoring/tuning environment configuration and settings
• Monitoring/advising for addressing long running reports
• Periodic auditing/reporting for inactive users
• Installation, configuration, upgrading of software components for major/minor/patch releases
• Aid in developing/implementing/testing disaster recovery strategy and mechanisms for Micro Strategy architecture
• Capacity planning and management
• Help reproduce production issues for logging tickets with Tech Support
• Analyze Intelligence Server and Web Server logs while troubleshooting
• Change logging settings if needed
• Run queries against Netezza and PostgreSQL databases as required for issue research
• Submitting and managing issues and enhancement cases with Micro Strategy for administration/environment related items
• Develop CI/CD mechanisms and automation for deploying Micro Strategy project and configuration changes across the various environments
• Support development teams with user/group security provisioning
• Aid in automating user provisioning
