Role:
Data Quality Analyst / Data Quality Engineer
Location:Charlotte, NC
Role Overview :Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data across enterprise systems. The role involves identifying data issues, developing quality checks, and collaborating with business and technical teams to improve data quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data quality rules and validation frameworks.
- Analyse data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and duplicates.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
- Create SQL queries to validate and reconcile data across systems.
- Monitor data quality metrics and prepare dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and application teams.
- Support data migration, integration, and data governance initiatives.
- Document data quality standards, processes, and remediation procedures.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data validation.
- Knowledge of data profiling and data cleansing.
- Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Great Expectations.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data lineage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Python scripting for data validation and automation.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or healthcare data.
