MAC Admin - Charlotte, NC

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a MAC Admin to join their team. As a MAC Admin, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Data Center Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Manage and maintain MacOS servers within a data center environment, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.

+ Collaborate closely with the Mac Support Team to implement server management plans, resolve network conflicts, and oversee DHCP and IP configurations.

+ Perform hands-on administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates using scripting tools.

+ Ensure servers are running up-to-date security software and operating systems in accordance with organizational standards.

+ Support the management of MacOS Server environments, including software packaging, installation, and virtualization.

** What's Needed?*
* + Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts, particularly for MacOS Servers.

+

Experience with MacOS Server scripting and automation of software patch installations and security updates.

+ Knowledge of DHCP, server IP configuration, and resolving network identification conflicts.

+ Proficiency with server configuration tools such as Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf, and related security profile software.

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Server Administrator.
