10 is currently seeking a Software Tester for an Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This position is for a Software Tester on the ATM platform. The role involves planning and executing regression tests for all releases of the ATM applications, which includes testing software, hardware, and firmware. The successful candidate will develop and report on appropriate tests, document any defects or issues found, and perform troubleshooting in an onsite lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and document tests
• Execute tests and troubleshoot issues to narrow down problems
• Document defects and issues while providing due diligence
• Assess and refine Epics, Stories, and bugs within an Agile process
• Document test plans and test cases/scripts
• Work onsite in a test lab to test ATM software on hardware devices
• Execute and document testing results, including troubleshooting and reducing defects to their most succinct steps
• Perform software installations, data conditioning, and communicate test environmental issues
• Function effectively in a lab environment with strong teaming skills and willingness to work with hardware (ATMs)
• Conduct exploratory and UAT testing, working closely with business partners to gain acceptance

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in functional and manual testing
• Experience testing a user interface with the ability to manipulate data
• Understanding of the Agile framework and the tester's role in the process
• Ability to use test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira
• Experience with device testing in a lab environment
• Curiosity, tenacity, and the ability to ask key questions
• Ability to clearly deduce and communicate issues to the appropriate level
• Team-focused behavior and ability to work independently

Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
