Lead Sourcing Consultant - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Lead Sourcing Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities for direct and indirect goods and services supporting the Legal function. You will manage supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing relationships to optimize spend, create value, and reduce third-party risk. This position involves strategic sourcing for technology solutions, legal data, and market data, including contract negotiation around AI and data usage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned spend categories and develop sourcing strategies for products, services, and suppliers supporting the Legal function
• Analyze contract data, business objectives, and market conditions to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
• Review expiring agreements to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, service improvements, and cost reduction
• Develop deal strategies and lead contract negotiations and supplier assessments for technology solutions, legal data, and market data
• Negotiate commercial, operational, legal, governance, and risk terms while balancing stakeholder objectives and enterprise risk tolerance
• Draft, review, and manage contract language to address evolving business, technology, regulatory, and market requirements
• Negotiate AI and generative AI usage rights, including restrictions on using company or customer data for model training
• Address data processing, data residency, subprocessor management, security, and data portability requirements
• Collaborate with Legal partners, peers, and subject-matter experts to develop and amend agreements
• Research and respond to internal and external inquiries, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education

Pay range: $43.13 - $51.13 per hour
