Digital AI/SEO Content Strategist

We are seeking a Digital AI/SEO Content Strategist to develop and execute digital discoverability strategies. This role focuses on increasing visibility, engagement, and business outcomes across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms. The strategist will partner with various internal teams and stakeholders to create optimized digital experiences and content that align with client needs and business objectives.

The AI Discoverability Pod establishes a coordinated operating model, bringing together content, tech, design, corp comm, etc. to execute work across priority work streams

• Develop and execute digital discoverability strategies to increase visibility and engagement.
• Partner with content strategists, experience designers, developers, SEO specialists, subject matter experts, and marketing stakeholders.
• Act as a thought leader and advocate for AI-driven discoverability.
• Lead and coordinate complex initiatives across multiple work streams by developing project plans and managing priorities.
• Collaborate with internal SEO teams and external agency partners to identify opportunities and develop optimization strategies.
• Leverage web analytics, search performance data, and user behavior insights to drive continuous optimization.
• Translate business objectives into actionable digital strategies, requirements, and recommendations.
• Evaluate and recommend content, site experience, and technical optimization opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, search platform developments, and advancements in generative AI technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Information Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of experience in digital strategy, SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, content strategy, or user experience.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, web analytics, content optimization, and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
• Experience leading complex digital initiatives or cross-functional work streams.
• Ability to identify market trends, evolving search behaviors, and competitive opportunities.
• Communication skills to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and foster collaboration in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for analyzing performance data and creating strategic recommendations.

• Experience using Adobe Analytics or other digital analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with generative AI platforms, AI-powered search experiences, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) concepts.
• Experience working with external agencies or vendor partners.
• Experience developing data-driven content, SEO, or digital optimization strategies.
• Financial services or highly regulated industry experience.
