Summer Intern: Software Engineer

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

• The Cloud Collaboration Tools team is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms, including SharePoint Online, One Drive, Power Apps, and Power Automate. As a Cloud Collaboration Tools Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and developers to create solutions that improve productivity and automate business processes across the organization. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform while developing skills in application development, automation, troubleshooting, and user support.
• In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers and developers to learn how to administer, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise collaboration tools. You will assist users by responding to support requests through our ticketing system, diagnosing and resolving common issues, and communicating solutions effectively. You will work directly with business users to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and develop custom solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  
  Additionally, you will research new technologies and features within Microsoft 365, contribute to application and workflow development, and help document solutions and support processes.

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
