Role Overview:
You will serve as a senior Physical Access Control System (PACS) consultant, providing technical leadership for implementing, integrating, and supporting an enterprise access control platform. You will work closely with the business, project teams, and vendors to ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and supportable. Your deep hands-on experience with enterprise PACS platforms, especially AMAG Symmetry, will guide architecture, operational support, and system integration across physical security, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the PACS technical SME and advisor to project and support teams
• Review architecture, design, integration, and implementation plans provided by the vendor
• Support PACS upgrade activities
• Define operational support, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity requirements
• Guide integrations with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and security systems
• Assist with testing and production readiness
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and stabilization

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience supporting, upgrading and implementing enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)
• Strong hands-on experience with AMAG Symmetry
• Experience with PACS architecture, badge management, access provisioning, alarms, readers, controllers, and Field Control Panels
• Experience working with PACS vendors, system integrators, and implementation teams
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience
• Experience with enterprise application integrations and APIs
• Experience supporting highly available, multi-site systems
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AMAG Connect and/or Guest
• Experience with AWS, cloud-hosted, or hybrid architectures
• Experience with Kafka, event streaming, messaging platforms, or real-time integration architectures
• Experience integrating PACS with identity management, HR systems, PSIM, VMS, IDS, or Service Now
• Experience with Cyber Ark, SIEM platforms, Splunk, or enterprise monitoring tools
• Utility, critical infrastructure, or NERC CIP-regulated industry experience
• Experience supporting large-scale security modernization or PACS replacement initiatives
